The Legendary Connection was founded by Erin and Jen… long-time friends who share a passion for connecting with their kids through family-based storytelling.

Jen is a literary enthusiast, passionate home cook, and recovering corporate senior director. She and her husband have three sons and an old hound dog. She worked in the life sciences industry for 18 years in various strategy and marketing roles before leaving to devote time to new passions, such as the creation of The Legendary Connection.

Her excitement for storytelling was originally sparked by her grandmother who created tales about mythical creatures living around their hometown. Now with three kids of her own, Jen tells Inspired Stories each night about a group of lemurs that travel around the world.

In her small windows of free time, she reads classic novels, experiments with new soup recipes, and enjoys occasional lakeside vacations.

Erin is a busy stay-at-home mom, crafter, and a lifelong lover of stories.  She and her husband have four children and a husky/corgi. She spends her limited free time working on various craft projects while listening to a podcast or audiobook on folklore, mythology, or history.

Erin has always been captivated by storytelling, an art she embraced since childhood through her grandmother's tales and various storytellers. She admires their ability to create vivid images with words and is passionate about collecting and reading global myths, folklore, and legends.

As a member of the Delaware Tribe of Indians, Erin has also found a deeper connection with her ancestors and other tribal members through the traditional Lenape stories.  She loves to share her stories with her children and their classmates.  She regularly shares the stories and culture of her people at schools, classrooms, and other community gatherings.
